Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants. Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.
I remember taking this photo from the balcony of my hotel room, could not resist to let this scenery just slowly pass by. Is there any other simpler way to cross the river, well this is definitely one way of cross the river. No sound of engines, no Splashers, no speed, sometimes calm is beautiful.
It’s always a challenge to photograph the full moon on a cloudy day, but it can also bring out the best moody shots like this one. Only if I can put a wolf in front of that moon, might even qualify for a Twilight saga background :).
